Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Define, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the service. You must be at least 18 years old to use Define.

2. Beta-Stage Service

Define is offered as a beta-stage service. Functionality, availability, and data durability are not guaranteed. The service may change, degrade, or be discontinued at any time without notice. You should not rely on Define as a system of record.

3. Account Responsibility

When you create an account:

• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials
• You are responsible for all activity under your account
• You must notify us of any unauthorized access
• You may not share your account credentials

4. Subscription and Payment

Paid plans, if offered during beta, are billed on a recurring basis and renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Pricing and plan terms may change while the service is in beta.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Define only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt the service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the systems
• Use the service to spam, harass, or harm others
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Scrape, copy, or resell the service without permission

6. Intellectual Property

Define, including its software, branding, and original content, is owned by 24 and Up and protected by intellectual property laws.

You retain all rights to the content you submit or create within the service. We do not claim ownership of your content.

7. User Content

By submitting content to Define, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to:

• Store and process your content to provide the service
• Use anonymized, aggregated data to monitor and improve the service
• Display your content back to you within the platform

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, including if you violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Define is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 24 and Up is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past twelve months.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time, particularly while the service is in beta. Continued use of Define after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
